Almond Blossom Mini Sessions


Every year, when the almond blossoms begin to bloom across Northern California, magic fills the air. For a few short weeks in February, the orchards transform into a soft sea of white and blush pink petals—like nature's very own fairy tale set.

This year’s Almond Blossom Mini Sessions were something truly special. I had the joy of photographing several incredible families, each bringing their own energy, love, and laughter to the orchard. These mini sessions were short and sweet—just enough time to capture the giggles, the snuggles, and the candid in-between moments that make each family unique.

As a family photographer serving Dixon, Davis, Winters, and the greater Solano and Yolo County areas, these seasonal minis are some of my favorite sessions to offer. There’s something so peaceful and magical about the way the sunlight filters through the blooming trees. It's a setting that inspires calm, connection, and pure joy—perfect for documenting the real love between parents and their kiddos.

Whether families were dancing between the trees, tossing little ones into the air, or simply enjoying a quiet snuggle beneath the blossoms, the orchard was buzzing with happiness. And even though the petals don’t stick around for long, the memories we made will last forever.
