Snuggles in the Lavender Fields


There’s something undeniably magical about photographing families in the golden light of sunset—especially when you pair it with the calming scent and stunning beauty of blooming lavender. This dreamy family session at HVH Flower Farm in Fairfield, CA was straight out of a storybook, featuring Author Ana, her loving husband LaMarr, and their sweet daughter Delilah.

As a Northern California family photographer, HVH Flower Farm is one of my favorite seasonal locations. Their lavender field is the perfect backdrop for a relaxed, joyful, and love-filled family session. The soft purples, buzzing bees, and fragrant air create an experience that’s more than just photos—it’s a memory.

Ana, LaMarr, and Delilah shared quiet giggles, sweet snuggles, and soft moments as the sun dipped low across the horizon. The way Delilah twirled between her parents, picking flowers and grinning ear to ear, was pure magic. Their connection was so natural and easy to capture. Whether cuddling close under the golden sky or exploring rows of lavender, every image tells a story of love, laughter, and togetherness.
